The brightest stars of Pennsylvania girls' high school basketball have been recognized. The official All-State teams were announced this week, highlighting the exceptional talent that lit up courts across the Keystone State this past season.
In Class 2A, Kennedy Catholic's Bella Magestro earned a prestigious First-Team selection, capping a remarkable career. The standout guard put up a stellar all-around stat line, averaging 20 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 3.4 steals per game. A true sharpshooter, she knocked down 76 three-pointers this season and holds the school record with nine in a single game. Magestro finishes her high school journey as the third-leading scorer in school history with 1,586 total points.
Magestro's teammate, junior Tori Harvey, secured a spot on the Class 2A Second Team with her own dominant performance. Harvey was a force on both ends of the floor, averaging an impressive 21.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 5.7 steals per contest, proving she's a player to watch next season.
The honors extended beyond Kennedy Catholic, with Wilmington's Reese Bruckner being named to the All-Pennsylvania Third Team. The Greyhounds' star averaged a solid 17.1 points per game across 28 contests. Meanwhile, Farrell senior Ja’Niya Daniels also earned Third-Team All-State honors, contributing nearly 15 points per game for the Steelers.
Congratulations to all these incredible athletes on this well-deserved recognition for their hard work and dedication on the court.
