"It's crazy thinking about it and that it’s less than a week away," Singleton said, his excitement palpable. "I’ve been waiting for the moment. I’ve been working my butt off to get to this moment. I just can’t wait to enjoy it." He's poised to join a significant contingent of Nittany Lions, as one of eight Penn State players projected to hear their names called in Pittsburgh this weekend.
For Singleton, the journey to the draft stage has included a significant hurdle. He suffered a broken foot during Senior Bowl practice in January, requiring surgery. Now medically cleared, he's back to showcasing the explosive speed that defines his game, recently hitting 22.3 mph in a workout. "It felt good to be able to run again," he shared. "The main thing is to get healthy and to show teams that I’m really healthy and back to normal."
His college resume speaks volumes about his playmaking ability. The former Gov. Mifflin High School star left Happy Valley as Penn State's all-time leader in all-purpose yards (5,586), overall touchdowns (55), and rushing touchdowns (45), cementing his legacy as a dynamic offensive weapon.
While his production dipped in a limited role last season, his raw talent keeps him firmly on NFL radars. Scouts, like The Athletic's Dane Brugler, note his "exceptional blend of size and speed" and "big-play potential," highlighting his pass-catching and kick-return skills as valuable assets for the next level.
