For the first time in three years, the New England Patriots won't be picking in the top five of an NFL draft.

After last season's improbable Super Bowl run, the Patriots are currently slated to pick at No. 31 in Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday. That gives the team a lot of flexibility when it comes to their first-round draft pick.

They could use the pick to draft a player or trade down to acquire more assets to use for later in the draft. There are a multitude of areas that need improving on the Patriots' roster, including offensive tackle, edge rusher, interior defensive line, tight end, wide receiver and linebacker.

With the Patriots entering the draft with 11 picks, they will have plenty of opportunities to address their weaknesses. Check back on this page for updates on picks, trades and all other news involving the Patriots throughout the three-day draft event.

Round 4: No. 125 overall (from Chicago Bears through Kansas City Chiefs)

Round 6: No. 202 overall (from Pittsburgh Steelers)
