Pat Bryant is clearly fired up about reuniting with his former college teammate in the NFL.
The Denver Broncos selected Illinois safety Miles Scott in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL draft on Saturday evening. Scott (5-11, 190 pounds) is a former wide receiver who played with Bryant from 2021-2024.
Bryant was picked by Denver in the third round of last year's NFL draft. After the Broncos added Scott on Saturday, Brandon Krisztal of Guerilla Sports reached out to Bryant for his reaction to the news.
"Broooo it’s crazyyy!!" Bryant told Krisztal. "He came in to Illinois with me my freshman year. That’s like my brother, great player but even better person!”
Bryant also took to Twitter/X with this reaction: "My brother! Came to college together now we hooping in the league. 💯."

The Broncos are expected to hold a rookie minicamp next week, and veterans are set to report for the start of the offseason program on May 4. So we're probably around one week away from Bryant and Scott reuniting in Denver.
