The Carolina Panthers are wasting no time locking in their future, announcing the signing of six of their seven draft picks just ahead of rookie minicamp. Leading the charge is first-round offensive tackle Monroe Freeling, who inked a four-year deal with a team option for a fifth season. Selected 19th overall last month, Freeling's contract is worth $20.9 million over four years, including a hefty $11.6 million signing bonus—a clear sign the Panthers are investing heavily in protecting their quarterback's blind side.

Joining Freeling in the rookie class are third-round wide receiver Chris Brazzell, fourth-round cornerback Will Lee, fifth-round center Sam Hecht, fifth-round safety Zakee Wheatley, and seventh-round linebacker Jackson Kuwatch—all of whom signed four-year deals. The only draft pick still unsigned is second-round defensive tackle Lee Hunter, but with camp just beginning, expect that to be resolved soon.

Beyond the draft, the Panthers have also brought in 10 undrafted free agents, adding depth and competition across the roster. The group includes intriguing names like Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King, Notre Dame cornerback DeVonta Smith, and Duke defensive tackle Aaron Hall. Other signings include SMU edge rusher Isaiah Smith, Rutgers cornerback Cam Miller, Texas defensive back Jaylon Guilbeau, Baylor wide receiver Kobe Prentice, Wisconsin defensive tackle Parker Peterson, Mississippi State offensive lineman Albert Reese, and Vanderbilt offensive lineman Isaia Glass.

With rookie minicamp underway, these new Panthers will be eager to prove their worth—whether as future starters or key contributors on special teams. For fans, it's an exciting time to stock up on Panthers gear and show support for the next generation of Carolina football.
