Page quarterback Cam Kruse committed to Collin Klein and Kansas State football, he announced through his X account on April 28.

Kruse, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound junior, also had offers from Miami, Northwestern and West Virginia, among others. He is the first quarterback commitment for Klein since he took the Wildcats' coaching job.

Kruse was 163-of-141 passing for 2,264 yards, 35 touchdowns and three interceptions last fall in his first season at Page, leading the Patriots to a 14-0 season and the TSSAA football Class 5A state championship. He also rushed for 376 yards and six TDs for an offense that averaged 40 points per game.
