The Philadelphia Eagles have made a move to bolster their wide receiver room, acquiring Dontayvion Wicks from the Green Bay Packers. This trade notably does not involve star receiver A.J. Brown, whose future with the team has been a major offseason storyline.

Philadelphia will send a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick to Green Bay in exchange for Wicks, who has also agreed to a new one-year, $12.5 million extension with the Eagles. The 2023 fifth-round pick was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

The team's financial flexibility improves if they were to make a move involving Brown after June 1st.
