The Packers take pre-draft visits seriously, and visitors often end up in Green Bay. So why not an all-visitor mock draft?

The Green Bay Packers' front office, led by General Manager Brian Gutekunst, has a clear and consistent draft philosophy: they take their pre-draft visits very, very seriously. History shows that a significant number of the 30 players invited to Green Bay each year end up wearing the green and gold, either as draft picks or priority undrafted free agents. It's a process built on thorough evaluation and comfort, ensuring every box is checked before making an investment in a player's future.

With the NFL Draft just days away, we decided to lean into this proven trend. What might a Packers draft look like if they selected *only* from their pool of reported pre-draft visitors? Using the latest consensus draft board and the current list of 26 known visitors, we built a full seven-round mock draft simulation focused exclusively on these prospects.

While the Packers certainly won't draft *only* visitors next week, this exercise shines a light on potential fits and reveals how their board might stack up. It provides intriguing clues about which players have already made a strong impression at 1265 Lombardi Avenue.

The simulation kicked off with a tough break in the second round. Highly-touted defensive lineman Christen Miller, a visitor and the consensus No. 46 player, was snatched up just a few picks before Green Bay's selection at No. 52. The consolation prize, however, was a fantastic fit: Texas Tech's Jaylon Hunter. Ranked No. 49 overall, Hunter could immediately help plug a significant hole on the defensive front. While his pre-draft testing numbers weren't elite, his 2025 All-American tape speaks volumes, projecting him as a powerful nose tackle at the next level.

Moving into the third round, the board presented an interesting opportunity. With top edge rusher and safety targets off the board, the simulation saw Green Bay select receiver Jaden Hurst. Is receiver a glaring third-round need? Perhaps not, but Hurst embodies the "best player available" approach. He's a big, explosive athlete with strong hands in traffic—reminiscent of Romeo Doubs—and possesses the elite athleticism to keep the weaponry around Jordan Love overflowing with talent.

Addressing the secondary became the focus in the middle rounds. While the cornerback board didn't break Green Bay's way early, value emerged later on. Don't be surprised if the Packers double-dip at cornerback from their visitor list, securing players who fit their specific scheme and have already undergone the team's rigorous evaluation process. This visitor-focused mock underscores a key draft truth for Packers fans: the players who tour Lambeau Field in April are very often the ones celebrating there come draft night.
