The Green Bay Packers enter draft week with the two biggest roster needs being defensive tackle and cornerback. It's two positions that Brian Gutekunst could double-dip at during the 2026 NFL Draft.
"That's probably the group that, from a numbers perspective, where we're gonna need to add the most numbers," Brian Gutekunst said Tuesday during a press conference at Lambeau Field.
As the Packers get ready to add bodies to the cornerback room during the 2026 NFL Draft, let's take a look at my Packers cornerback big board.
File these three under the 'let's hope they slide' category. Never say never, but it would be somewhat shocking if one of these three prospects is still on the board when the Packers are on the clock with the 52nd overall pick. If any of these three cornerbacks are still on the board when Day 2 of the draft opens up, Gutekunst could move up to snag one of them.
The lone cornerback that got a second-round grade from me could be long gone before the Packers are on the clock. Cisse will turn 21 in June, and he's extremely athletic. If he is still on the board, he could be the pick at 52. I just don't think he gets outside of the Top 40, and it would not be shocking if he goes in the first round.
This is the sweet spot for the Packers to address the cornerback room. Abney may not be on Green Bay's board due to his size (5-9 and 30-inch arms), however, he's a combative cornerback who the Packers may be willing to bend their thresholds.
With his medicals, Moore could also be off Green Bay's board, but he enjoyed a healthy 2025 campaign and has a lot of tools to work with that would make him an attractive target.
Igbinosun, Neal, Lee and Everette all check the boxes, and it would not be shocking to see the Packers take one of those four with the 84th overall pick.
A pair of super-sized cornerbacks from a school that was once DBU. Davis is 6-3 and owns nearly 34-inch arms. That's not a typo. Prysock is 6-3 and has 33-inch arms.
The Packers hosted Demmings on a 30-visit and he was also coached by Jamal Lett, a defensive quality control coach for the Packers at the Senior Bowl. At 6-1, 191 pounds and 32-inch arms, Demmings certainly looks the part. He’s a physical and athletic cornerback. He finished this past season with four interceptions and nine pass deflections.
If I had to pick a Day 3 cornerback that the Packers will draft, it would be McCutchin Sr. At 6-1, 191 pounds with long arms, McCutchin certainly looks the part. He has agile footwork to be sticky in coverage.
Hall is another cornerback who was coached by Lett during the Senior Bowl. The Iowa cornerback is composed and fluid in coverage, and never panics when the ball is in the air.
Fuller and Lawler would be exciting additions to the cornerback room. Lawler ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at Montana's Pro Day and has nearly 32-inch arms. The Utah transfer, he is a lanky cornerback and is disruptive at the catch point.
