The Oregon women's basketball program has seen its share of transfer portal activity this offseason, but for the first time in recent memory, the movement appears to be more about roster management than player departures. Following the 2024-25 season, the Ducks experienced no transfers out—a notable milestone in the era of relaxed portal rules. However, after the 2025-26 campaign, a handful of players entered the portal, signaling a shift in strategy under head coach Kelly Graves.
Unlike previous offseasons where players sought greener pastures, this year's exits seem to be driven by the coaching staff. Five players from last year's roster entered the portal, including senior guard Elisa Mevius, who has since committed to Wisconsin Green Bay. The Ducks are also bringing in reinforcements, with two key additions already secured.
The first is 6-foot-1 redshirt senior forward from Minnesota, who spent last season on the roster but redshirted to preserve eligibility. A three-year starter for the Golden Gophers, she brings veteran leadership and a reliable inside presence. In the 2024-25 season, she shot 42.8% from the field and averaged 8.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Her experience will be crucial in filling the void left by Mia Jacobs.
The second addition is 6-foot-2 junior forward Hilary Fuller, a transfer from Belmont where she earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors. Fuller appeared in 27 games last season, starting 26, and averaged 14.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. She shot 40.7% from the field and 35.3% from beyond the arc, providing a versatile scoring threat. With two years of eligibility remaining, she's a key piece for the Ducks' future.
Oregon currently has three scholarships available for the 2026-27 season. While Graves has expressed confidence in his current 12-player roster, the portal remains open, and the Ducks could still make moves before tip-off. For fans eager to rep the green and yellow, now is the perfect time to gear up for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
