Oregon MTEN, WTEN, and BVB are wrapping up their seasons. Here is how the weekend’s action played out.
#70 Oregon women’s tennis finished their season on the road this last weekend. They had their work cut out for them just to be competitive with a pair of ranked teams in #5 Ohio State and #56 Penn State, so ending the Spring Season with losses was not entirely unexpected.
On Friday, the Ducks were dominated by a very good Buckeyes team in Columbus, and lost 0-4. They first dropped the doubles point by 6-3 scores in the games that counted. Then Oregon struggled to win sets in the course of losing just their second 4-0 loss of the season.

Oregon ended their season on Sunday with a 1-4 loss against the Nittany Lions in University Park. The ladies started well, winning two doubles matches to get the doubles point, but could not carry that into the singles matches. The Ducks played better than on Friday, but were still handily defeated in all the matches.
