The Scottish Premiership title race is reaching a fever pitch, and Celtic are right in the thick of it. After last week's victory over Falkirk, the Hoops are now just three points behind league leaders Hearts. With Rangers slipping up against Motherwell, Celtic have climbed to second in the standings. But a formidable test awaits at Easter Road this Sunday, as Martin O'Neill's men face a determined Hibernian side.

History is on Celtic's side in this fixture, though the matches are rarely straightforward. The Bhoys edged out Hibs 2-1 in their last Edinburgh meeting, and repeated that scoreline at Parkhead earlier this year. However, back in September under Brendan Rodgers, the sides played out a tense stalemate. O'Neill has since sparked a four-game winning run, reigniting hopes of a domestic double.

One of the key storylines has been the emergence of Viljami Sinisalo in goal. With Kasper Schmeichel sidelined by a shoulder injury, the Finnish shot-stopper has seized his opportunity, bringing much-needed stability to the backline. His performances have been a bright spot in Celtic's recent resurgence.

Defensively, Celtic are set to welcome back Alistair Johnston, a massive boost for the squad. But with five crucial games remaining, his minutes will be carefully managed. Expect Anthony Ralston to start on the right, with Johnston likely to make an impact off the bench. In central defense, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales have formed a reliable partnership following Cameron Carter-Vickers' season-ending injury, and O'Neill should stick with the US-Irish duo over Dane Murray or Benjamin Arthur. Kieran Tierney is expected to start on the left, though Marcelo Saracchi could feature late in the game.

In midfield, Arne Engels returns to the fold after a spell on the sidelines. The Belgian's creativity and energy alongside captain Callum McGregor will be vital as Celtic look to maintain their momentum and close the gap on Hearts.
