West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is keeping his focus squarely on the present as the club fights to avoid relegation from the Premier League. With just three games left in the season, the Portuguese boss insists he hasn't given a single thought to his own future—even as reports suggest the West Ham board wants him to stay on regardless of whether the team drops to the Championship.

The Hammers currently sit in 18th place, one point behind Tottenham, with Wolves and Burnley already relegated. Their survival hopes are hanging by a thread, and Sunday's home match against league leaders Arsenal looks like a monumental challenge. Arsenal arrives at the London Stadium riding high after beating Atletico Madrid to reach the Champions League final, and they've won their last two visits to West Ham by a combined score of 11-2.

"I'm going to be honest with you—I don't have one second to think about next season," Nuno said on Friday. "It's so demanding what we have, the challenge, especially the game on Sunday, that's what we have to focus on. I don't have enough energy to think about what's ahead. It's tomorrow, then tomorrow, day-by-day."

The Gunners are five points clear at the top of the Premier League and in scintillating form, but Nuno remains defiant. "It's difficult because they are very good," he admitted. "They are a very talented team that is fighting for huge things and achieving huge moments. But we are at London Stadium, and that always gives us a plus of energy. We have to give our all."

With nerves running high in the season's final stretch, Nuno knows composure will be key. "It's always nervy in these final games," he added. "There's always anxiety, so it's up to us to control our nerves and deliver what we want." For West Ham fans, the message is clear: the fight isn't over yet, and their manager isn't looking beyond the next 90 minutes.
