The Chargers have been hard at work on the final day of the 2026 NFL Draft.
While the first two days of the event saw the Chargers make two selections, the team has made four additional picks thus far. The latest selection for the Bolts was defensive tackle Nick Barrett at No. 145 overall.
Barrett appeared in 51 games with 12 starts throughout his five-year career at South Carolina. He led South Carolina defensive linemen with 47 tackles, 3.9 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks in a solid 2025 performance.
Barrett recorded 14 run stops last season, which was tied for 14th most among 180 qualified defensive lineman.
