Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft is in the books, and Day 2 is coming up shortly.
Rounds 2-3 of the draft will take place on Friday, April 24, at various locations around Pittsburgh. Round 2 is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET, and both rounds will be televised on NFL Network, ABC and ESPN and in Spanish on ESPN Deportes.
The Las Vegas Raiders selected Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall selection on Thursday, April 23, making the 2025 Heisman Trophy winner their presumed quarterback of the future. The Detroit Lions, meanwhile, chose Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller with the No. 17 pick. Miller was described by his college coach, Dabo Sweeney as "one of one. I've never really had one like him. On the offensive line, I've had second-rounders, third-rounders, fourth-rounders, every round you can think, but he's my first first-round offensive lineman, and, boy, is he worthy. He is big, he's strong, he's athletic, he's a leader, and he's one of the most committed guys I've ever coached."

The Lions enter Day 2 with only one pick, a second rounder at No. 50 overall. Detroit traded both its 2026 third-round selections for the right to select wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa in the third round of the 2025 Draft. Though the Lions may not be super active on Day 2, that may change on Day 3, where the Lions currently have seven picks to make in Rounds 4-7.
