The New York Yankees have had a rough weekend in Milwaukee. After witnessing Jacob Misiorowski's overpowering performance on Friday and falling in an extra-innings heartbreaker on Saturday—a game type the club has struggled with since the Manfred Man rule change—the Bombers now face a must-win situation. They have one chance to salvage the series before heading to Baltimore, and they're turning to Carlos Rodón to be the stopper.

The left-hander has completed his rehab assignment and will make his season debut on the road in Wisconsin. Rodón led all of baseball in starts last year—an impressive feat for a pitcher who once had durability questions. Now, a month into the season, the Yankees expect more than just innings; they need high-impact results. In his final rehab start with Triple-A Scranton on Tuesday, Rodón threw 83 pitches over 6.1 innings. The Yankees would love a repeat performance, though don't expect him to exceed 90 tosses. If he can combine efficiency with length, it would go a long way toward building the club's confidence in him moving forward.

The Brewers counter with Logan Henderson, who may be tougher than his 4.50 ERA suggests. The righty has yet to allow a home run and boasts a wicked 33.3 percent K-BB rate, meaning the Yankees can't expect an easier opposing starter than anything they've seen all weekend. If Rodón looks like his 2026 self, we could be in for a dynamite pitcher's duel to close out this series.

As expected, J.C. Escarra gets the start behind the plate, spelling Austin Wells. Facing the right-handed Henderson, Ryan McMahon also takes over for Amed Rosario at the hot corner. The top four in the lineup remain unchanged from yesterday's loss.

First pitch is set for a Mother's Day matinee. Tune in on WFAN 660/101.9 FM or WADO 1280 for the radio broadcast, or stream on the Gotham Sports App or MLB Network (out-of-market). Let's see if the Yankees can get back on track before the road trip continues.
