New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is currently caught in the middle of a relationship scandal involving former NFL insider for The Athletic, Dianna Russini.

Vrabel was recently spotted with Russini at a luxury hotel, sparking rumors of an affair. She has since resigned from her position, and Vrabel finally addressed the media with a lengthy statement on Tuesday. However, on Thursday, the Day of the NFL Draft, old pictures of Vrabel and Russini from six years ago have surfaced, and it's not a good look for Vrabel.

The new pictures show Vrabel and Russini getting close at a bar six years ago on March 11, 2020.

“They were kissing and they were all over each other,” an eyewitness told Page Six. “He had a ring on.”

“They were having a glorious time. They were [giving each other] pecks, a bunch of pecks constantly,” a source told Page Six. “There was nobody in there. Nobody knew who they were. I don’t even think the bartenders did.”

Vrabel was already married at the time of these pictures, and Russini married her husband just months later. The pictures were released just shortly after news was released that Vrabel was not going to be with the team for Day 3 of the draft, noting that he is getting counseling.

"Page Six contacted both Vrabel and Russini on Wednesday afternoon regarding the photos," Page Six read on Thursday. "While neither commented for this story, Vrabel told ESPN just hours later that he will miss day three of the NFL draft to enter counseling."

The new pictures are not a good look for Vrabel and Russini, who both denied affair rumors when pictures of them in Arizona were released a few weeks ago. Vrabel has already noted that this is a private and personal matter, so it is unlikely he will provide any meaningful details on the newly released images.

Vrabel was still the head coach of the Tennessee Titans in 2020, when the pictures were taken. Russini was working with ESPN at the time.
