New Jersey high school football is witnessing a major quarterback shakeup this offseason. Jalen Parker, the state's all-time leader in passing touchdowns, is taking his talents to a new program for his senior year.

The Class of 2027 star announced via social media that he is transferring from Winslow Township to Camden High School. This move connects two of the state's premier programs, as Parker leaves the back-to-back Group 4 state champions to join the defending Group 2 state champs.

Parker's resume is nothing short of historic. He enters his final season holding the New Jersey record with 107 career touchdown passes. His junior campaign was spectacular, culminating in a 40-touchdown season that included two scoring throws in Winslow's 34-21 state championship victory over Ramapo.

According to MaxPreps, Parker's 2025 stat line through 13 games was formidable: 3,048 passing yards and 38 touchdowns on 194 completions. He also proved to be a dual-threat, adding 137 rushing yards and three scores on the ground, showcasing the dynamic athleticism that makes him a coveted prospect.

For Winslow Township, Parker's departure compounds an already challenging week. The program also learned that head coach Bill Belton, a respected alumnus and one of the state's top coaches, is leaving to lead St. Augustine Prep.

Parker now joins a Camden Panthers squad that finished the past season with a 13-2 record and ranked 14th in the final state poll. His arrival instantly elevates Camden's offensive firepower as they look to defend their title.
