Netflix is doubling down on its NFL partnership, announcing a slate of new live games for the upcoming season—plus the star-studded NFL Honors broadcast. While the streaming giant has long maintained that full-season rights are too pricey, it's carving out a winning niche with premium live events and sports documentaries.

Here's the kicker: Netflix and the NFL have extended their four-year deal through the 2030 season, and the lineup is stacked. Mark your calendars for Week 1, when the league makes history with its first-ever regular season game in Australia. On Thursday, September 10th, the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will clash at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground—live on Netflix.

But that's just the warm-up. On Wednesday, November 25th, Netflix will air the NFL's first Thanksgiving Eve game, featuring the Green Bay Packers visiting the Rams at SoFi Stadium. Then, on Christmas Day (Friday, December 25th), Netflix returns with a doubleheader—1 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET games. Last year's Christmas broadcast between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings set a record as the most-streamed regular season NFL game in U.S. history, so expect even bigger things this time around.

The regular season finale gets a boost too: a Week 18 game on Saturday, January 9th at 1 p.m. ET.
