As the regular season enters its final stretch, the NCAA baseball tournament picture is heating up with significant movement in the latest bracket projections. Following Week 13 action, several host teams have been shuffled, creating new opportunities and heartbreak for bubble squads.

Kansas, Oregon State, and Coastal Carolina have all dropped out of hosting spots after a challenging week. Meanwhile, West Virginia—fresh off a series sweep of Kansas—has surged into contention, joined by Big Ten programs Nebraska and Oregon. These teams edged out bubble candidates like Wake Forest, Southern Cal, and Oregon State thanks to stronger Quadrant 1 records, a key metric for selection.

The bubble itself saw some shake-ups. Purdue and Louisiana have entered the at-large field, while East Carolina has fallen out, sitting as the first team left on the outside. The Pirates' 52 RPI and 3-6-1 Quad 1 record proved too much to overcome. Texas State remains a team to watch: despite a solid 43 RPI and 5-8 Quad 1 mark, a sub-.500 Sun Belt record kept them out. A series win over Marshall could change their fortunes.

This week's projections also highlighted a notable lack of power conference teams on the bubble. Programs like Clemson, Pittsburgh, LSU, and Vanderbilt have been held back by poor conference records or low RPIs, leaving the field open for mid-major contenders.

The seeding process saw 2-seeds grouped in fours, with Oklahoma moved down to avoid an SEC rematch. The 3- and 4-seeds were assigned geographically for efficiency. Projected automatic bids reflect current conference leaders, with RPI as a tiebreaker, and are marked with an asterisk.

Last Four In: NC State, Arizona State, Purdue, Louisiana
First Four Out: East Carolina, Texas State, Troy, Kent State

With just one week remaining, every game matters as teams battle for a spot in the tournament. Whether your squad is hosting or fighting for a bubble bid, now is the time to gear up and show your support.
