Duke guard Isaiah Evans recently declared for the NBA Draft and is expected to be a first-round selection.
The 2025-26 All-ACC selection had a breakout campaign for the Blue Devils last season, averaging 15 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks.
Throughout the season, Evans showcased his scoring and three-point shooting ability that many NBA teams could use.
In a recent mock draft, NBA analyst Kevin O'Connor sent him to the Detroit Pistons with the No. 21 pick.
This move would make a lot of sense for Detroit, as they finished tied for 28th in the league during the regular season in three-pointers made per game (11).
Evans led all Blue Devils in that category, knocking down 101 throughout the year, 47 more than the next highest player on the team.
He did so while shooting 36.1% from deep, the third-highest percentage on the team of any player in the rotation.
If the draft were to go as O'Connor predicts, Evans could make an instant impact for Detroit next season.
