The Sioux City Musketeers' perfect 2026 Clark Cup Playoffs run hit a roadblock in Fargo on Saturday night, as they fell 4-1 to the Fargo Force in Game 1 of their second-round series.

Facing a tough road environment, the Muskies struggled to find their offensive rhythm against a stout Force defense. The game remained out of reach until late in the third period when forward Aidan Dyer finally put Sioux City on the board, breaking the shutout but not the momentum.

With the series now a best-of-five, the Musketeers have no time to dwell on the loss. They must regroup quickly for a crucial Game 2 this Sunday at 5:05 PM, again in Fargo, looking to battle back and reclaim home-ice advantage before the series shifts to Sioux City.
