Despite being outshot 43-24 by the Manitoba Moose, the Milwaukee Admirals beat the Jets AHL affiliate team 4-1 in the First Round Series of the Central Division in the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs.

The hero of the game was undoubtedly Milwaukee goalie Matthew Murray who made 42 saves off 43 shots to earn the win.

Despite getting outshot in every period, especially in the first period by 10-7, the Admirals made their shots count scoring both their first period goals by their sixth shot of the game. By that time, Manitoba had put up seven shots with nothing on the board.

The Moose eventually scored in the third period, but with Milwaukee efficiently scoring a goal in both second and final period, the game was out of reach.
