One of the top wide receivers at Michigan State last season has reportedly signed with the Chicago Bears.
Spartans wide receiver Omari Kelly has reportedly signed as a undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears. The news of Kelly signing with the Bears was released shortly after the 2026 NFL Draft concluded on Saturday night.
Kelly played one season at Michigan State after transferring to the school from Middle Tennessee State this past offseason. He appeared in all 12 games for the Spartans this year, recording 47 receptions for 626 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught the game-winning two-point conversion play in overtime against Boston College -- which was one of his top highlights in the green-and-white.
Prior to coming to Michigan State, Kelly played two seasons at Auburn and one at Middle Tennessee State. He ended his college career appearing in 42 games, recording 105 receptions for 1,596 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
