The Mount Union women's lacrosse team saw their season come to a close in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, falling 21-5 to Union on May 9 in Salisbury, Maryland.

A dominant second quarter proved to be the turning point, as Union outscored the Purple Raiders 8-1 to take a commanding 14-4 halftime lead. Mount Union couldn't recover from the deficit, ending their campaign with a 12-6 record.

Haylee Handrahan led the Purple Raiders' offense with three goals and an assist, while Mae Pawlikowski and Ella Nejad also found the back of the net. Goalkeeper Abby Reagan made 10 saves in the loss.

Meanwhile, Mount Union's baseball and softball teams faced their own postseason heartbreak. Despite winning Ohio Athletic Conference regular season titles, both squads were eliminated from their respective OAC tournaments. The baseball team fell to Baldwin Wallace 9-2 and Ohio Northern 13-5 in their double-elimination bracket, while the softball team dropped a 5-4 decision to Capital in single-elimination play.

Both teams now turn their attention to the NCAA Division III Tournament, with pairings scheduled for release on May 11. At-large bids represent their only path to the national stage.
