MANCHESTER - Kendall Holt allowed two hits over five innings and struck out 10 as the Portsmouth High School softball team improved to 3-1 with an 18-2 win over Manchester Memorial/Central on Monday, April 20.

Laura Milks had three hits and four RBIs for the Clippers, while Piper Hindle and Abby Craig both had two hits and two RBIs. Teammate Ally Girald had three hits, one RBI and scored two runs.

Holt (three hits, run), Sidney Pettis (hit, run), Darby Benson (hit, run), Ana Christo (two runs), and Ainsley MacGlashing (hit, two runs) all contributed to the offense.

NASHUA - Exeter scored eight runs in the first inning, and six in the second in this Division I win.

Maddy Gionet allowed one hit and struck out eight over five innings, earning the win. Jill Ryan led Exeter (2-2) with three hits, one RBI and two runs, while Alexa Papakonstantis had two hits, one RBI, and two runs.

Teammates Landyn Theberge (two hits, RBI), Lillian Kelley (hit, two RBIs), Rowan Decew (hit, RBI), Allie Patten (hit, RBI), Sara Dean (hit) and Gionet (hit) all contributed.

MERRIMACK - Hayren Reynoso and Colette Le both had two hits for Winnacunnet in this Division I extra-inning loss.

Le's RBI double accounted for Winnacunnet's lone run. Lucy Gelbstein and Arden Langmaid each had one hit for the Warriors.

NORTHWOOD - Aliza Parks and Kate Michaud both had two hits for Oyster River in this Division II game, while Aubrey DeJesus, Kaiya Mercier and Morgan Trela all had one.

DOVER - Mattie Williams had two hits, two RBIs and scored two runs for St. Thomas Aquinas (2-2) in its Division III game.

Mollie Gaynor added two hits and three RBIs for the Saints, while Hailey Anzmann had two hits and one RBI, and Bizzie Pelletier (double), Olivia Semprini (double), Maddie Hamilton, and Brooke Lewis all had one hit.

EXETER - Senior Ethan Battles allowed one hit and struck out 14 for Exeter (3-1) in its Division I win. Brennan Schimoler had two hits and three RBIs for the Blue Hawks, while Battles had two hits and an RBI.

Exeter's Will Tobin (hit, run), Cam Crombie (hit, two runs), and Roger Plante (hit, RBI, run) contributed to the offense.

HAMPTON - Senior southpaw Harvey Reynoso allowed five hits and struck out five in a complete-game shutout for Winnacunnet (4-0) in this Division I win.

Reynoso and Brantson Larck both had two hits for Winnacunnet, while Braeden O'Hara had one. The Warriors scored two runs in the first inning, and one in the fifth.

BEDFORD - Dover scored four runs in the first inning, but couldn't push any more across in this Division I loss.

Bedford scored one run in the third, three in the sixth and plated the winning run in the seventh.

Daniel Conrad had two hits for Dover (2-2), while Logan Mosher, Connor Sprague, Gage Brown and Tucker Chipman all had one. Chipman also had two RBIs, and Brown had one.
