SPRINGFIELD—Nearly two weeks after Missouri State wrapped up Spring Camp, first-year Head Coach, Casey Woods, made his long awaited debut inside the Ozarks First Digital Studio, on Wednesday.
Coach Woods, and Ozarks First Chris Pinson, discussed a variety of topics: High school recruiting, Spring Camp evaluation, potential starting quarterback, offensive line continuity, and, of course, the NEWLY released Bears 2026 football schedule. Plus, a couple other topics, including, the importance of attendance at MO State football games.
As Coach Woods mentioned on the podcast, as the MO State football program head into summer, they still have a lot of work to do to get everyone prepared for the upcoming season. The coaching staff can only simulate so much of what will occur in actual games, so his focus is to have his players as prepared as they can be, when it’s time to keep score and track wins and losses.
There will be much more conversation, inside the studio and at Plaster Stadium, to come this summer, so continue to check in with Ozarks First website and digital media.
