Did your favorite high school payer make the roundup? See who excelled on the football field in the Hometown Life region.

The second week of Michigan Girls High School Flag Football is officially in the books, and the action on the field has been nothing short of spectacular. From game-changing interceptions to explosive rushing touchdowns, players across the Hometown Life region are already making their mark this season. Whether you're a fan, a player, or just love the sport, here's your stat-packed roundup of the week's top performers.

Let's start with the defensive standouts. Laylah Brown had a day to remember, hauling in two interceptions—including a 43-yard pick-six that brought the crowd to its feet—and adding a pass breakup. Not content with just shutting down the passing game, she also racked up 66 rushing yards on just two carries and added a 10-yard reception. Skyann Penn matched Brown's two-interception total, returning one of them 16 yards for a touchdown, and chipped in with a tackle for loss and 33 rushing yards on seven carries. These two are proving that defense wins championships—and flag football games.

On the offensive side, Greyse Santos showed poise under center, completing 3 of 10 passes for 39 yards and a touchdown, despite one interception. Ma'Kiah Williams made her limited touches count, hauling in a single reception for 11 yards and a touchdown while also recording a tackle for loss. Capri Easley was a disruptive force up front, notching three quarterback hurries and a tackle for loss, while adding 16 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Bayley Wiseley was a dual-threat weapon, catching two passes for 44 yards and rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown, with two pass breakups on defense.

Quarterback Amiya Handy had a roller-coaster week, throwing for 53 yards and a touchdown on 6-of-18 passing, but also tossing five interceptions. Still, she showed resilience, later bouncing back in another game with a 5-of-7 performance for 41 yards and a touchdown, plus two one-point conversions. Paityn Smith was a reliable target, catching two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 9 yards—and later adding a touchdown reception, 18 rushing yards, and an interception in a separate game.

Addison Sayyae displayed her versatility, completing her only pass for 37 yards, rushing for 15 yards on four carries, catching a 7-yard pass, and even picking off a pass with two breakups. Aysia Jones was a consistent contributor, rushing for 22 yards on four carries and catching a 7-yard pass in one game, then exploding for 82 rushing yards and a touchdown on four carries in another, plus two receptions for 9 yards and a one-point conversion. Cheyanne Cole was efficient under center, going 2-of-2 for 6 yards and a touchdown, with a one-point conversion. Trinity Branch made the most of her touches with 30 rushing yards on three carries and a 31-yard reception. Madyson Nalls rounded out the action with a 12-yard rush, a 3-yard reception for a one-point conversion, and a tackle for loss.
