It’s the first race on U.S. soil for 2026, meaning it’s also the first race of the season to have a decent start time for U.S. viewers (4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT). All the action will be held at Miami International Autodrome — and there are still tickets available, if you’re interested in watching in person.
This year, F1 has moved to a new streaming home, Apple TV. So if you want to catch this weekend's race live, you'll need access to Apple TV (or F1 TV Premium, now free with an Apple TV subscription). Ready to watch the Miami Grand Prix? Here's everything you need to know about this weekend’s USA F1 race, plus the full 2026 F1 Grand Prix schedule.
Formula One racing returns from a five-week break this weekend with the 2026 Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, May 3. But it’s the second sprint weekend of the season, so don’t miss the action on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2.
The 2026 Miami Grand Prix will kick off at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 3.
F1 races used to air on ESPN and ESPN2 in the U.S., but Apple TV has signed an exclusive five-year deal to be the U.S. broadcaster of Formula 1 starting this season. That means the Australian Grand Prix and every other race of the 2026 F1 season will stream live on Apple TV.
For those without traditional cable, that makes watching F1 much easier. If you aren't already an Apple TV subscriber and don't want to shell out for yet another streaming service, we have a guide on how to get Apple TV for free in 2026.
Apple TV is the new home of F1 racing. In addition to access to every F1 race of the season, the platform offers award-winning shows like Severance, Ted Lasso, Shrinking and The Morning Show plus great original movies.
Apple TV offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers, or if you've recently bought an eligible Apple device, you can get up to three months of the streaming service for free. After that, the subscription will run you $12.99/month.
An F1 TV Premium subscription is now included with Apple TV. You can activate your free subscription using your Apple TV credentials and an existing F1 account. F1 TV Premium lets you stream every F1 race live, plus all the practices, qualifying races and pre-race shows. F1 TV is also home to F1's post-race live shows, analysis, Tech Talks, documentaries and the official F1 archive.
Eligible T-Mobile subscribers who maintain one qualifying Experience Beyond or Experience More line in good standing are eligible for a discounted Apple TV plan for just $3/month.
Customers in the U.S. can save over 30% on regular prices by subscribing to the Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle for $14.99/month, or the ad-free Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus for $19.99/month, through either app or website. (If you're an existing Apple One subscriber on a Family or Premier plan, you can subscribe to Peacock Premium Plus and receive a special 35% discount.)
This first-of-its-kind bundle offers the best of both services, including award-winning originals, live events and sports, and blockbuster movies. You'll get shows like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Paper, The Traitors, MLS and MLB games, the NBA, and much more, all through one monthly subscription.
This bundle cannot be purchased on third-party device partners, and the Apple TV subscription (formerly Apple TV+) does not include third-party branded subscription services or content available for rental or purchase in the Apple TV app.
