The latest transfer addition for the Miami RedHawks played high school basketball 40 minutes from Oxford.
Miami announced the signing of 2022 Centerville High School graduate Rich Rolf, a 6-foot-7 forward who played at Youngstown State last season, on Friday, April 24.
Rolf averaged a career-high 9.1 points in 26.6 minutes per game last season, making 30 starts. He shot 36.8% from 3-point range (46 of 125).
Rolf played his first three seasons at Charlotte. He redshirted as a freshman and missed all but three games in his redshirt freshman season because of an injury. In the 2024-25 season, he averaged 3.8 points in 17.2 minutes per game.
Rolf is the third transfer addition for Miami this spring. Coach Travis Steele and his staff first added Stevie Elam, a 6-3 guard from the Milwaukee Panthers who averaged 10.5 points as a freshman, and then Ball State transfer Preston Copeland, a 6-9 forward.
