Big news for TCU basketball fans: sophomore forward Micah Robinson is running it back. The 6'6" standout has announced he will return to Fort Worth for the 2026-27 season, giving the Horned Frogs a major boost for their upcoming campaign.

Robinson is coming off a breakout year where he averaged 10.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, playing a pivotal role in TCU's run to the NCAA Tournament's second round. He truly shined on the biggest stage, leading the team in scoring with 18 points in both tournament games against Ohio State and Duke.

His decision to stay is a significant win for head coach Jamie Dixon's program. Robinson, a former four-star recruit, joins junior guards Brock Harding and Xavier Edmonds as key players announcing their return. This core trio provides a strong foundation as TCU looks to build on last season's 23-12 record and sixth-place finish in the fiercely competitive Big 12.

While the team will miss departing senior Jayden Pierre and a couple of reserves in the transfer portal, retaining a versatile and proven scorer like Robinson ensures the Horned Frogs remain a formidable force. His development and leadership will be crucial as TCU aims to stay near the top of the conference standings next winter.
