Memphis football fans eager for a first look at the new-look Tigers under head coach Charles Huff will have to wait a little longer. The program's Spring Fest, scheduled for April 18 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, has been postponed due to forecasts of inclement weather.

While the public event is on hold, the team will still conclude its spring practice schedule on the 18th, moving to a closed session at their indoor facility. This ensures the Tigers' preparation continues uninterrupted as they build toward the fall season.

The Spring Fest was designed as a fresh alternative to the traditional spring game, emphasizing fan interaction and an inside look at practice under Coach Huff and his new staff, including offensive coordinator Kevin Decker and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry. The event promised glimpses of key players like quarterback Air Noland and dynamic athletes such as Manny Covey and Marcus Stokes in action.

The university has announced that the fan-friendly festival will be rescheduled for a future date. For now, Tiger supporters can stay tuned for updates and, when the sun returns, gear up to show their spirit in style at the rescheduled event.
