Rory McIlroy will tee of at the US PGA Championship at 13:40 BST on Thursday, 14 May when the 108th edition of the major gets under way.

The stage is set for the 108th US PGA Championship, and golf fans are in for a treat with some mouth-watering pairings at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.

Rory McIlroy will step onto the 10th tee at 13:40 BST on Thursday, sharing the spotlight with Spain's Jon Rahm and American Jordan Spieth. It's a group that brings back memories of last September's Ryder Cup triumph at Bethpage, where McIlroy and Rahm were victorious teammates against the US. The Northern Irishman, now 37, is riding high after defending his Masters title last month, and he'll be looking to add to his major collection. His last PGA Championship win came in 2012 at Kiawah Island, where he dominated with a record eight-stroke victory.

History is also on the line: no player since Jack Nicklaus in 1975 has managed to win both the Masters and the PGA in the same year. McIlroy will be aiming to break that streak.

World number one Scottie Scheffler, the defending champion, tees off at 19:05 alongside English duo Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose. Fitzpatrick's younger brother Alex, who recently secured his tour card after teaming up with Matt to win the Zurich Classic, will open the tournament in the first group at 11:45 with Americans Braden Shattuck and Ben Griffin.

Tommy Fleetwood, a fan favorite, goes out at 18:45 with Scotland's Robert MacIntyre and US player Chris Gotterup. Meanwhile, two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau joins fellow American Rickie Fowler and Sweden's rising star Ludvig Aberg at 13:18.

With the course set and the pairings locked, this year's PGA Championship promises drama, star power, and a chance for history. Whether you're following from the fairways or from your living room, it's a weekend no golf fan will want to miss.
