The Los Angeles Dodgers kept third baseman Max Muncy out of their lineup for Sunday’s series finale following his early removal from Saturday’s win due to illness.
Muncy hit a home run in his only at-bat of the evening, and also walked twice. Manager Dave Roberts lifted him in the top of the fourth after stating he felt under the weather before the game. The rest of the Dodgers’ bats performed as well, as LA plated 12 runs total in the outing after a Game 1 loss.
Left-hander Justin Wrobleski has put together two incredibly strong outings in his last two starts, and will look to do the same as the Dodgers aim to grab a series win at home. Over his last two outings, Wrobleski has allowed just one run through 15 innings pitched.
Designated hitter Shohei Ohtani stays at the top of the lineup for the Dodgers, and first baseman Freddie Freeman stays in the second spot after Roberts moved him up earlier in the week. Left fielder Teoscar Hernandez, center fielder Andy Pages and right fielder Kyle Tucker make up the heart of the order, and second baseman Miguel Rojas.
Catcher Dalton Rushing gets another game with catcher Will Smith out of the lineup for a second consecutive game, and the left side of the infield rounds out the lineup with third baseman Santiago Espinal and shortstop Hyeseong Kim.

Left-hander Shota Imanaga will start for the Cubs, and he’s having quite the month for the North Siders. He’s made four starts, pitching a total of 24 innings, and has allowed just three runs while striking out 25 batters.
The Dodgers have mashed left-handed pitching this season, posting a 134 wRC+—the second-highest mark in MLB behind the Cubs. Wrobleski will hope to keep Chicago’s dangerous lineup at bay throughout the game as the Dodgers look to regain their spot at the top of the division on Sunday. First pitch comes at 1:10 p.m. PT.
