Tkachuk has already checked off two of those three boxes. He hoisted the Stanley Cup in back-to-back seasons with the Panthers, cementing his legacy as a clutch playoff performer. Then, he added Olympic gold to his resume at the Milan Cortina Games as a key member of Team USA. Now, he's set to chase the final piece of the puzzle at the world championships later this month.

USA Hockey announced its preliminary roster for the tournament on Thursday, and Tkachuk's name is front and center.
