The Boston Bruins have their backs against the wall ahead of a win-or-go-home Game 5.

Boston suffered a 6-1 blowout loss to the Buffalo Sabres in Game 4 to go down 3-1 in the first round. It was a frustrating result for the Bruins, who need to win three straight games to advance to the second round.

Ahead of Game 5 on Tuesday, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm said the team will likely make some lineup changes to try and find a spark.

“Don’t look at the lines today,” Sturm said after practice on Monday. “It’s going to be different tomorrow. … I need more time with the decision of lineup. There will be definitely some changes tomorrow. Today, there were different areas that were more important than just lines.”

Part of the reason for the lineup changes could be due to injuries, as Viktor Arvidsson left Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return. He also didn’t practice on Monday. Mikey Eyssimont replaced Arvidsson in practice.

“It’s obviously a big loss for us,” Casey Mittelstadt said of Arvidsson. “He’s been a big part of our team, especially down the stretch, made a lot of big plays and scored a lot of big goals for us. I don’t think one guy can do it. But we’ll do it by committee. Everyone on this team brings a different thing.”

Meanwhile, big-body defenseman Nikita Zadorov didn’t practice on Monday, and Mason Lohrei replaced him on the third-pair alongside Andrew Peeke.

Game 5 is set for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET in Buffalo.
