The Titusville softball team delivered a commanding performance Friday, defeating Meadville 12-2 in a six-inning Region 6 showdown that showcased the Rockets' offensive firepower and pitching dominance.

Nora Lesko led the charge with an impressive stat line of three runs, three RBIs, and a double, setting the tone for Titusville's balanced attack. Peyton Gricks, Mackenzie Yochum, and Marissa Warner each crossed the plate twice, while Kylie Crocker shined both in the circle and at the plate. The standout pitcher recorded nine strikeouts over six innings while also driving in four runs, scoring once, and adding a double of her own. Addyson Kregel provided the power with a home run and two RBIs, and Paisley Stanford chipped in with a run scored.

The victory improves Titusville to 8-6 overall and 7-5 in region play. The Rockets will look to carry this momentum into a non-region matchup at Girard on Saturday at noon. Meadville, now 5-11 overall and 4-8 in the region, will aim to bounce back when they travel to General McLane on Monday for another Region 6 test.

In other action around the region, the Saegertown baseball team put on an offensive clinic, dismantling Jamestown 26-0 in a three-inning Region 3 game. The Panthers exploded for six runs in the first inning before scoring an incredible 20 runs in the second. William Shaffer paced the attack with four runs and two RBIs, while Grayson Burchill added three runs and two RBIs. Blake Burchill, Luke Young, Kayden McClintock, Tyler Cherpak, and Riley Wilkinson each scored twice, with Cherpak also dominating on the mound—allowing just one hit while striking out six over three innings. Saegertown improves to 15-1 overall and a perfect 11-0 in region play, and will host Lakeview on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Rocky Grove softball team cruised to a 21-1 victory over Lakeview in a four-inning Region 2 contest. Jillian Cratty and Payton Phillips each scored five runs, with Cratty adding two RBIs. Annabelle Waters contributed four runs and two RBIs, while Zoe Cresswell drove in five runs, scored three times, and smashed a double. Abigail Mawhinney was effective in the circle with five strikeouts and also drove in three runs while scoring twice. Rocky Grove, now 6-10 overall and 2-7 in region play, will host West Middlesex on Saturday at 11 a.m. for a non-region matchup.
