The San Francisco 49ers are slated for a busy third day of the NFL draft.
They are scheduled to pick five times between Rounds 4 and 5 after wheeling and dealing with four trades on the first two days of the draft. San Francisco traded back twice in the first round and once in the second round before settling on picking twice in Round 3. They also added a fifth-round pick by trading linebacker Dee Winters to the Dallas Cowboys. They later attached that fifth-round choice to the No. 58 overall pick to move back and pick up the 107th overall choice.
Here's an updated look at the 49ers' selections going into Day 3:
It'll be interesting to see how committed the 49ers are to moving back. It stands to reason with so many picks between the 100th and 180th choices that they'd look to stand pat and try to load up on player in that range. One trade back could get them further into Day 3, but moving into Round 6 or 7 just to do it doesn't make a ton of sense if the team has so many opportunities to add talent in Round 4.
Round 4 of the NFL draft begins at 9:00am Pacific Time on Saturday.
