The Detroit Lions and general manager Brad Holmes made one of the splashy moves in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Lions jumped up six spots to pick No. 44 in order to land Michigan EDGE Derrick Moore. There's plenty that Lions fans will be excited to know about new Detroit pass rusher Derrick Moore.

But, fans probably want to know what the Lions gave up in order to make the move, too. Here's a look at what the Lions sent to the New York Jets in order to draft Derrick Moore:

The Lions sent over its No. 50 and No. 128 overall selections to move up six spots to No. 44. The 128th pick was one of the Lions' two fourth-round selections in the 2026 NFL Draft.

In order to land the EDGE that it wanted, that feels like a small price to pay for Holmes to go get his guy.
