Leeds United are facing a tough decision this summer as winger Largie Ramazani looks set for a permanent exit, with Valencia pushing hard to bring him back to La Liga. The Spanish club's CEO Ron Gourlay has already reached out to Leeds directly to discuss financial terms, according to Spanish outlet AS, while Marca reports that Daniel Farke's side prefers a full sale over another loan deal. Radio Marca Valencia adds that Leeds have told agents and intermediaries they're expecting €10–12 million for the 25-year-old, who still has a contract at Elland Road running through 2028.
Ramazani joined Leeds from UD Almería in August 2024 but returned to Spain on loan to Valencia last summer. The first half of his season was disrupted by injury, but from January onward, the Belgian winger hit his stride, scoring all six of his goals in 2025 across 22 La Liga appearances. He also added two assists in 1,074 total minutes on the pitch. Speaking this week, Ramazani said he plans to evaluate his future at the end of the season before making any decisions. Since Valencia's loan deal didn't include a purchase clause, they must now negotiate fresh terms with Leeds from scratch.
So, does paying €10–12 million make sense in the long run? It's a mixed bag. Ramazani clearly has quality—his six goals from limited starting time in La Liga show he can handle the tight spaces and physicality of a top European league, something many players from English clubs struggle with. But his injury record is a real concern. Half his season was essentially lost to fitness issues, which raises questions about his long-term reliability and value. For a club like Leeds, who need consistent performers to push for promotion or stabilize in the top flight, that's a gamble worth weighing carefully. At 25, he's entering his prime years, but the price tag feels like a bet on potential rather than proven durability.
