Rangers are facing a pivotal decision on the future of 19-year-old winger Findlay Curtis, with another loan move looking increasingly likely ahead of the 2026-27 season. According to reporter Pete O'Rourke, the young talent's development path is about to take another strategic turn.

Curtis made the move to Kilmarnock on loan back in January 2026, after already making 21 appearances for Rangers and contributing three goals and two assists. His time at Rugby Park turned heads, earning him an impressive 7.23 Sofascore rating over seven matches. The numbers tell the story: one goal, one assist, 10 key passes, three big chances created, and 11 successful dribbles. His standout moment came when he scored in a 2-0 win over Livingston, which earned him his first senior call-up to the Scotland squad under Steve Clarke.

But here's where it gets interesting. Rangers are building serious attacking depth, and the competition is heating up. Manager Rohl is looking to add more firepower this summer, with Swiss striker Lorent Tolaj from Plymouth Argyle heavily linked to a move. The club is also pushing to secure another loan for Tottenham's Mikey Moore, who has become a fan favorite at Ibrox.

Those potential arrivals, combined with the existing talent pool, naturally push Curtis down the pecking order. But Rangers aren't rushing into a decision. The club plans to wait until the end of the transfer window before making a final call, giving Rohl the chance to evaluate all his wide options during pre-season first.

From Rangers' perspective, this isn't hesitation—it's smart, patient planning. The club has no intention of selling Curtis permanently, and the fact that Rohl wants him involved in pre-season speaks volumes about how highly they rate him at Ibrox. This is a long-term play, showing belief in his potential while recognizing he needs more game time to develop.

Still, Curtis has a clear area to work on: consistency in the final third. With just one Premiership goal in six games for Kilmarnock, his finishing hasn't quite caught up to his overall play. Another loan move could be exactly what he needs to sharpen that edge and prove he's ready for the first team.
