A WWE legend believes the Los Angeles Lakers should make a drastic roster move this summer.

The Los Angeles Lakers are facing early playoff pressure, and one WWE legend thinks a drastic move is the answer. After a disappointing 108-90 loss to the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals, the Lakers are already in a 1-0 hole. Missing from the lineup was their 6-foot-6 standout point guard, sidelined by a hamstring injury.

That guard is Luka Dončić, the former Dallas Mavericks superstar who inked a massive three-year, $165 million contract extension with the Lakers last summer. But his recurring injury issues have sparked a bold opinion from an unexpected source: Ric Flair.

"Luka, please get in the game," Flair wrote Tuesday. "Take a shot of cortisone and deal with the pain! They are paying you $50 million a year, and you're not there! I hope Jeanie Buss trades you next year. Nobody wants a lame duck on their team!"

Flair's frustration is understandable, but it's worth looking at the bigger picture. Dončić's hamstring setback is just the latest in a season that's seen him battle leg, groin, knee, finger, and ankle issues. Despite those challenges, the 27-year-old star appeared in 64 games and posted career-best numbers: 33.5 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game, shooting 47.6% from the field and 36.6% from three-point range.

While it's undoubtedly tough for Lakers fans to watch their franchise player sit out during a critical playoff run, trading him would be a massive overreaction. Dončić is a six-time All-Star and the cornerstone of Los Angeles' future. Even if he doesn't suit up again this season, his talent and potential make him untouchable. The Lakers' best move is to stay patient—and hope their superstar gets healthy enough to make a difference when it counts.
