AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Dallas Wings released former Texas center Kyla Oldacre on Sunday.
Oldacre signed a training camp contract following the WNBA draft April 14, and the Wings began camp for the 2026 season April 19. Dallas also released Zee Spearman in the team’s second wave of roster cuts before the final rosters are due May 5.
The Dallas Hoops Journal reported that Oldacre was limited in camp because she was working back from league protocol.
The 6-foot-6 Oldacre scored 1,000 points with a 58% field goal percentage in her collegiate career, spanning stops at Miami and Texas. She played 78 games for the Longhorns.
Once she clears waivers, Oldacre could potentially sign with any WNBA team. The Wings could also re-sign her as a developmental player.
