Sean O’Malley, the UFC bantamweight champion, and Aaron Pico, one of Bellator’s most promising featherweights, may have their differences. But that hasn’t stopped them from sharing a training room as they both prepare for major fights on July 27.

In a fascinating crossover of fight camps, Bellator standout Aaron Pico has enlisted the help of UFC star Khamzat Chimaev as he prepares for a pivotal return. Pico, looking to rebound from a tough knockout loss last August, is deep in camp for his July 27th bout against Patricio "Pitbull" Freire at UFC 304 in Abu Dhabi.

To sharpen his skills, Pico brought in the undefeated Chimaev for a session at The Treigning Lab in California. The duo worked on striking techniques before Chimaev showcased his renowned wrestling prowess, followed by a grueling strength and conditioning circuit that left both athletes spent. They capped off the intense training with 'The Blue Stuff,' an electrolyte blend from the lab.

Chimaev isn't just playing coach; he's deep in his own championship preparations. The reigning middleweight king is set to defend his title against former champion Sean Strickland in the UFC 328 main event on May 9th in Newark, New Jersey. Strickland aims to be the first to blemish Chimaev's perfect 15-0 professional record.

This collaboration highlights how top fighters often seek fresh perspectives and elite training partners, regardless of promotion, when preparing for the biggest fights of their careers. It's a reminder that the pursuit of greatness happens as much in the gym as it does in the cage.
