The FIFA World Cup 2026 is set to deliver an unforgettable start, with three massive opening ceremonies across the host nations of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico this June. This marks a historic first for the tournament, as each country will host its own star-studded event to kick off the world's biggest soccer spectacle.

The action kicks off on Thursday, June 11, in Mexico City, where global Latin music icon J Balvin, Venezuelan singer Danny Ocean, and South African sensation Tyla will take the stage. Then, on Friday, June 12, all eyes turn to Los Angeles for a powerhouse lineup featuring pop superstar Katy Perry, K-pop phenomenon LISA, Afrobeat star Tyla (making a second appearance), rapper Future, Brazilian pop diva Anitta, and "Calm Down" hitmaker Rema. The following day, Toronto's ceremony will celebrate Canadian talent with Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Michael Bublé, and Jessie Reyez.

This musical extravaganza sets the stage for an epic tournament. The U.S. Men's National Team will open their campaign against Paraguay in the first match, kicking off a 104-game journey across 16 host cities. The road to the final concludes on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Whether you're cheering from the stands or gearing up at home, this is a World Cup like no other—and the perfect moment to suit up in your favorite team's gear.
