Big news out of Lawrence: the Kansas Jayhawks have locked in a major transfer commitment from Radford guard Dennis Parker Jr., a dynamic scorer who's ready to bring his explosive game to Allen Fieldhouse.

Standing at 6-foot-6, the junior guard put up eye-popping numbers this past season: 18.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, while shooting a crisp 48.4% from the field and nearly 38% from beyond the arc. But it's his breakout performance that has fans buzzing—Parker erupted for 53 points against Coppin State, drilling 10 three-pointers in the process. That marks the highest single-game scoring output by any Division I player since 2019.

Consistency was the name of the game for Parker, who scored 20 or more points in 11 games this season. His journey to Kansas is a testament to perseverance: the Richmond, Virginia native started his college career at NC State, averaging 4.7 points as a freshman and 2.9 as a sophomore. After transferring to Radford, he found his rhythm and became one of the most feared scorers in the nation.

Parker will finish his college career under Hall of Fame coach Bill Self, joining a reloaded Jayhawks roster. He's the fourth transfer addition for Kansas, following Utah forward Keanu Dawes, Charleston center Christian Reeves, and Toledo guard Leroy Blyden Jr.

And the talent infusion doesn't stop there. Kansas is also bringing in a loaded high school recruiting class headlined by No. 1 overall recruit Tyran Stokes. The class includes four-star point guard Tay Kinney (No. 20 nationally), four-star power forward Davion Adkins (No. 59), four-star small forward Trent Perry (No. 98), four-star shooting guard Luke Barnett (No. 119), and unranked center Grant Mordini.

With Parker's sharpshooting and this influx of young talent, the Jayhawks are building something special in Lawrence. For fans looking to rep their team in style, this is the perfect time to gear up for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
