Just how worried are we about the Boston Celtics after their Game 2 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs? To be fair, the Celtics obliterated the Sixers in Game 1 of the series, and the Celtics should have been expecting a more determined opponent on the other side of the court.

And the fact that the Sixers upped their attempts from beyond the arc ought not to have been a surprise either given how few that Philly shot in the Game 1 loss as well. But a lot of the mistakes we saw from Boston echoed past iterations of this ball club that did not take opponents seriously enough in the postseason -- and at times, to devastating effect. Could we see a repeat early exit after such an attitude appearing to rear its head?
