The Boston Celtics already have one of the best fan bases and home crowds in the NBA during the regular season. During the playoffs, however, they're even better.

Celtics fans brought the noise to TD Garden for Game 1 of Boston's first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Garden was rocking from start to finish as the Celtics throttled the Sixers, winning by 32 points in a historic beatdown.

Boston fans even mocked Philadelphia by chanting "We want Boston" after the game.

During his postgame press conference, Jayson Tatum praised Celtics fans for their passion and energy.

“We have a tremendous crowd, and you know, obviously missing 60 some odd games, you know, I miss playing in front of our home crowd and, just the opportunity again to play, play here in the playoffs is special and, you know, something I'll never take for granted," Tatum said.

After getting a standing ovation from the Boston fans, Tatum responded with a monster game, racking up 21 points in the first half alone. He finished with 25-11-7, seemingly getting a boost from the home crowd.

Celtics fans will need to bring a similar energy in Game 2 on Tuesday.
