The Winslow Township Eagles are entering a new era. After capturing back-to-back New Jersey high school football state championships, the Atco-based powerhouse has officially named Jamal White as its next head coach, according to a report from NJ.com.
White, a highly respected offensive coordinator in South Jersey, steps into his first head coaching role at a pivotal moment for the program. Known for his sharp play-calling and ability to develop talent, he now faces the challenge of keeping the Eagles flying high as the 2026 season approaches.
The transition comes after former head coach Bill Belton left last month to take the reins at St. Augustine Prep. Belton's tenure was nothing short of spectacular—he compiled a 42-9 record over four years, leading Winslow Township to three straight sectional titles and back-to-back NJSIAA Public Group 4 state championships. His success at his alma mater set a high bar for any successor.
But the shakeups didn't stop there. The Eagles also lost their record-setting quarterback, Jalen Parker, who transferred to Gloucester Catholic for the 2026 season. A Class of 2027 standout, Parker holds the all-time New Jersey state record with 107 career touchdown passes—and counting. In the 2025 season alone, he threw for 40 touchdowns, including two in the state championship win over Ramapo. Over 13 games, he completed 194 of 310 passes for 3,048 yards and 38 touchdowns, per MaxPreps.
Winslow Township finished the 2025 season with a 12-2 record and ranked No. 5 in the final New Jersey high school football rankings. With a new coach at the helm and a roster in transition, all eyes will be on how White rebuilds and reloads for another title run.
