Tennessee sophomore golfer Jackson Herrington completed the second round of the Masters on Friday at Augusta National Golf Course in Augusta, Georgia.

After plus-four first round on Thursday, Herrington recorded a 76 in Friday's second round. He finished tied for 69th place in his major debut. Herrington did not make the cut and shared low-scoring amateur honors with Ethan Fang.

The Tennessee sophomore was on par through nine holes in the second round after making consecutive birdies on the seventh and eighth holes.

In his debut at the Masters, he played alongside 2009 champion Angel Cabrera and Sami Valimaki.

Herrington was in contention to make the cut after his first nine holes of the second round until a triple bogey on the 12th hole. After a triple bogey, he finished with six consecutive pars.

Herrington recorded four birdies in the first round and was tied for 56th place in the 91-player field.

He qualified for the Masters and U.S. Open by finishing second in the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship.
